　   作为我国最大的木薯生产地，广西正致力于发展以木薯为代表的1.5代非粮生物乙醇和第2代纤维素乙醇炼制产业，全区近500万亩木薯田将变成“绿色油田”。

　   经过几年发展，广西已经形成较为成熟的木薯加工产业群，全区有以广西中粮集团生物质能源有限公司、广西明阳生化开发有限公司等为产业龙头的木薯淀粉加工企业150多家，淀粉产量约54万吨，木薯酒精加工企业20多家，年产量达60万吨。
