　   作为我国最大的木薯生产地，广西正致力于发展以木薯为代表的1.5代非粮生物乙醇和第2代纤维素乙醇炼制产业，全区近500万亩木薯田将变成“绿色油田”。  
    　广西是我国最大的木薯基地，种植面积和产量连续10年居全国之首。目前，广西木薯种植面积近500万亩，产量超过700万吨，两项均占全国的70%以上。
